Anime Reveiw #1: Sword Art Online
NerdSauce TBS Score: 9.5

Anime Review: #1 Welcome to NerdSauce. Here, we have our first short anime review on an Anime called Sword Art Online or in short "SAO". First, I'd like to say thank you for adding and/or liking us here on facebook. Now for the content...well if you didn't know, SAO takes place in the world of Aincrad, and is about a new virtual online MMO that ends up trapping everyone inside the game. Now I will not spoil too much, but the story revolves around the main protagonist "Kirito", who is a young high schooler that beta tested the game and is now trapped like many others. Like everyone else in the game, he faces death and odds stacked against him. However, through skill, will power, and the ability to some how break the game mechanics themselves, he becomes the hero that I have not seen in many anime of late, that being a classic hero of sorts like Guts from Berserk. This anime has a good, round cast of side characters that support the main character in his journey to escape the SAO world. It is filled with plenty of action with a romance story that will make you either all for the couple or just down right hate them to death. In season one, there is an epic villain who works mysteriously throughout the series. SAO is divided into two parts. Part 1 is by the far best out of the two. It leaves you on the edge of your seat wanting more. Whereas part 2...well let's just say the story is really good, but leaves you with the feeling of a filler. It does have needed story line within all of that fluff. Regardless of the content, it's just a beautiful anime. If anything you can watch it for how the anime looks. The whole series is beautifully animated. You can find this series on Netflix, in either Japanese with English subtitles or dubbed in English. Both versions have great voice acting. Hope you enjoyed our little review of the anime, and hope you stay tuned for more.
